Missions & Outreach

We know and believe that God has commanded us to make disciples of all nations, beginning in Annville, and reaching outward to the ends of the earth.

  • Since its beginning in 1985, our church has joyfully supported and partnered with Annville Christian Academy. We share in its mission to provide a Christ-centered, biblical education for children in our community and surrounding areas.

  • Through Bible Release Time (BRT), we have the privilege of welcoming elementary students from our local public school to our church each month for an hour that looks a lot like Vacation Bible School—complete with songs, Bible teaching, activities, and fun. Our church also helps lead the BRT program for 6th graders at another local church, giving us a special opportunity to share God’s Word and love with children in our community.

  • We strive to help those in need in our community. In the past we have participated in a variety of different collections, including clothes drives, toy drives, diaper drives, food drives, coat drives, card drives, and also Give a Gift to Give through the local nursing home.

  • We love being an active part of our community. Each year our church participates in local events like the Annville 4th of July parade—where, in the past, we have entered floats in the parade, hosted a booth, and even given away free hotdogs. We also participate every year in the town’s annual Trick or Treat event, where we hand out candy, hot chocolate, gospel tracts, and Bibles.

  • We are proud to support our local Gideons in their efforts of “making the Word of God available to everyone and…reaching souls for Christ.”

  • We believe the Great Commission calls us to be involved in reaching the nations with the gospel. Our church partners with NAMB church planters in Dayton and IMB missionaries in Japan. We have recently sent members to serve in both Japan and Romania on short-term trips. We are committed to missions through praying, giving, and going—asking God to use us to make disciples of all nations.

  • Several of our members are trained and serve with Kentucky Disaster Relief through the Kentucky Baptist Convention. By responding to natural disasters with practical help and the hope of the gospel, they bring comfort and Christ’s love to people in times of great need.

  • We support local, state, national, and international missions through our giving and involvement with our local Baptist association, the Kentucky Baptist Convention, and the International Mission Board through their annual Lottie Moon Christmas Offering.

  • Every year, we participate in Samaritan Purse’s Operation Christmas Child wherein we pack shoeboxes that contain special treats and school supplies that will be distributed around the world. We also support the project by being a Drop Off location in our area during the week-long nationwide collection period in the month of November.

  • Vacation Bible School is one of our favorite weeks of the year, filled with fun, food, friendly competition, and learning about Jesus! We invite the youth and children in our community for a week of diving into the the Word of God and gospel, while at the same time having fun  together!
