What to Expect

What Time Should I Arrive?

We recommend arriving about 10–15 minutes early so you have time to park, say hello, and find a seat. If you’d like, one of our greeters will be happy to help you get settled. Please note that our services start at 10:30 a.m., which is earlier than the traditional 11 a.m. start time of many churches.

Where Do I Park?

We have plenty of parking, including designated handicap spaces near the main entrance.

Will I Have to Introduce Myself in Front of Everyone?

Nope! We won’t put you on the spot or ask you to stand up. We’ll greet you warmly at the door, but you can participate at your own pace. If you are willing, we may ask you to fill out your contact information on a connection card, so we can connect with you and provide you with more information about the church.

What Does a Typical Service Look Like?

Because we are a multi-generational church, we try to have something for everybody. We mostly sing hymns, but do so to the music of piano and guitar. It is not uncommon to hear contemporary praise songs for special music and kid’s songs by our children’s choir. Each service will also include a practical and Biblical message from our pastor. The entire service will last around an hour.

What Should I Wear?

Come as you are. You will find a good range of clothing from casual all the way to more formal, although a tie and suit coat are not very common.

Do I Need a Bible?

If you have a Bible, bring it, as our pastor reads and preaches out of the Bible every service. However, if you do not have a Bible, come anyway. We have Bibles available for use and will make sure that you leave with one, if you want.

Do You Have Activities for Children?

At this time, we do not have childcare or children’s church during our worship service. We love seeing entire families worshiping together. We do have an interactive youth and children’s program on Wednesdays and weekly Sunday School classes for children.

Will I Be Expected to Give Money?

No. We don’t expect guests to give financially. The offering is an opportunity for our regular members and attendees to support benevolent needs, missions, and the ministry of the church.

Are You Handicap Accessible?

We have handicap parking spaces and do not have any stairs leading into our worship area and fellowship hall. We also have double doors that can accommodate large service chairs.

How Can I Get Connected?

We’d love to help you find your place here. After the service, stop by our welcome area in between the sanctuary and Ed Building or speak with our pastor. You can also fill out a connection card so we can follow up with you during the week.
