Baptism

What is Baptism?

Christian baptism is the immersion of a believer in water in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. It is an act of obedience symbolizing the believer’s faith in a crucified, buried, and risen Savior, the believer’s death to sin, the burial of the old life, and the resurrection to walk in newness of life in Christ Jesus. It is a testimony to his faith in the final resurrection of the dead.

All In

Every person who is baptized receives a blue t-shirt with the words “All In.” The phrase carries a double meaning. First, it points to baptism itself—we want everyone who follows Christ to go “all in” the water, as we practice full immersion of believers. But it also speaks to the heart of the person being baptized— they are “all in” for Jesus and fully committed to following Him for the rest of their life.
